Nick Combs has more than twenty-six years of experience managing, leading, and developing Information Technology solutions for the Military, Intelligence, Federal Government and commercial sectors. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer for EMC Federal.

Prior to this, he held senior government positions as the Deputy Chief for Enterprise IT Solutions, Defense Intelligence Agency, where he was responsible for the Engineering and Program Management of all activities in the Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems environment; and the IT Director and Chief Information Officer of the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where under his leadership, the organization became a tier one support activity for the U.S. Special Operations Community and a key element in the Global War on Terrorism.

Nick currently serves on the Executive Advisory Committee for the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC) and regularly participates in the activities of the Technology CEO Council providing advice and guidance for Government Reform. Nick has received numerous awards and recognition throughout his career to include two Defense Meritorious Civilian Service awards, the Joint Meritorious Service Medal, and the Army Meritorious Service Medal. Nick is also a decorated Army veteran that proudly served in many campaigns to include in Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, Rwanda, Panama, and Grenada. Nick has served on many industry and government standards boards and serves on the Boards of several small companies.
